fnatic proceed to the upper bracket final of SLTV StarSeries X Finals after shutting down myXMG 2-0 (16-4 de_dust2, 16-2 de_mirage).

The clear underdogs myXMG started off on the right foot, they picked up the initial pistol round as Terrorists, but things turned quickly around with fnatic replying in the following eco.

Two ecos didn't stop myXMG from trying, one B bombsite attack ended up in a one-on-one, but fnatic always managed to come out victorious from the close rounds for 6-1.

Then fnatic made a crucial mistake including a one-on-three by Jesper "⁠TENZKI⁠" Plougmann, which he won in the last two seconds despite not being able to plant the bomb in time, as Robin "⁠flusha⁠" Rönnquist picked the wrong position for the situation.

The following round saw myXMG take over long and the A bombsite later on, but Freddy "⁠KRIMZ⁠" Johansson saved his team with a one-on-two thanks to a jump-shot. From the remaining five rounds, the Danes were only able to take two and fnatic went to the Terrorists side with a comfortable 11-4 lead.

A delayed B split helped fnatic take over the bombsite, and even though they got picked off one by one, flusha was once again left in an unfavorable one-on-two situation, which he was able to win thanks to good positioning.

fnatic were far too hot to handle for the unexperienced myXMG 

The first and only full gunround in the second half saw myXMG take it to two-on-two, but fnatic's correct rotation shut them down and closed map one out at 16-4 with a B attack.

The second map was de_mirage and this time fnatic were able to clinch the initial pistol as Counter-Terrorists, as well as both anti-ecos and the first gunround, which saw myXMG try a quick A split from connector and pit.

Following eco was another story though, the Danish team was able to plant the bomb and fnatic had little to no time to defuse with Olof "⁠olofmeister⁠" Kajbjer being less than a second away from defusing before going down.

fnatic's agression on middle with Markus "⁠pronax⁠" Wallsten on point with a triple shut the opposition down, which started a five-round run from the Swedes, as myXMG were unable to clinch the afterplant situations over and over.

A B push finally went into their hands though after a two-on-two, but that was all she wrote for myXMG, as they were only a Jesper "⁠JW⁠" Wecksell's triple away from going over to Counter-Terrorists at 13-2.

fnatic decided to close things out with a successful B rush and the only thing standing in their way was a double forcebuy, none of which worked, and fnatic clinched the upper bracket final with a 16-2 scoreline, 2-0.
