PACT have booked their spot at Games Clash Masters 2018 after beating Izako Boars 2-0 in the last-chance qualifier. The Polish side will be replacing HellRaisers, who decided against attending the event due to schedule issues as they will be competing at the upcoming StarSeries tournament, in Kiev, in early October, shortly after the FACEIT Major. PACT and Izako Boars, who had placed second and third in the last closed qualifier, respectively, faced off in a best-of-three series that began with a quadruple overtime on Inferno, where not even an inspired performance from Mateusz "matty" Kołodziejczyk was enough to prevent his team from losing the game. ![]() Next up was Mirage, which was as keenly-contested as the opening map. Tomasz "ToM223" Richter, who is currently on trial for PACT, led the charge for the team in another overtime game and helped them to stay composed after they had let a massive 14-8 lead slip away.
