Ghost have assured their promotion to the ESL Pro League Season 6 North America after beating Rush 2-0 (16-3 on Train and 16-12 on Overpass) in the deciding match of the relegation playoffs.

As reported yesterday, Ghost, formerly known as Bee's Money Crew, reached the deciding match of the ESL Pro League Season 5 North America Relegation after The Foundation did not field a full roster in time for the elimination match.

As for Rush, their first match was against Ghost, which they won for 2-1. Following their 0-2 loss against Enigma6 in the winners' match, Samuel "⁠SileNt⁠" Portillo and co. met Ghost once again for a place in the EPL Season 6 North America.

Wardell led the way for Ghost with an impressive 1.9 rating on Train

It all began on Train, Ghost's map pick, with Sebastian "⁠seb⁠" Bucki and his teammates easily reaching a comfortable 12-3 scoreline by the end of their CT-side. After switching sides, although SileNt nearly pulled off the pistol round, his opponents kept winning rounds and secured a 16-3 victory with a flawless second half.

On Overpass, Phong "⁠bee⁠" Nguyen had to be replaced and Crondle, his team's manager, stepped in. Despite that fact, Ghost managed to guarantee a 9-6 lead by half-time. From that moment, Matthew "⁠WARDELL⁠" Yu's squad continued to pave the way for their promotion and their adversaries' relegation, which they did after closing the series 2-0 with a 16-12 win on Rush's map pick.
