The management of Gfinity has decided to delay the third Gfinity LAN event to date, a move induced by feedback from the eSports community. Gfinity's upcoming LAN event, abbreviated as G3, was scheduled to inaugurate on the 24th of May, will now be held during the 2nd and 3rd August. The decision was made in order to make the event more accessible for both attendants and spectators, as interference with other events and exams would cause considerable issues, following the official statement:
Along with the main event, the ramifications of this change is the adjournment of qualifiers, which will start at the end of May. Fortunately, no other alterations have been made to the event, and the $180,000 prize purse will be up for grabs in various titles, including CS:GO with a guaranteed $30,000 prize pot.
